A good, solid win for Richard today against a big serving opponent. He was patient, and seized his chance in the 1st set tie break, then grew in confidence and dominated the 2nd set.

He was very motivated today. You could see it meant a lot to him. Bravo Richard!

So annoying, I awoke early to watch the match and cannot find a live stream. I am in Texas so awoke 4:30 which was way too early as Simon s match went the distance. Richard is up a break in the first set. I'm hoping he wins in straight sets so I get another couple of hours sleep. If anyone has a live stream please share. Go Richard gasquet

Allez Richard!!! A good couple of wins although unfortunately I couldn't see either match as i'm very busy but happy to see him build some momentum. He has a huge chance to make the QF's. I hope he plays as well against tomic as he did at the US open. All the best for the rest of the year Richard!

Too bad that Richard's match against Pospisil was neither streamed nor televised. Richard himself seemed very pleased after the match ("I played a superb first set").

It sounds like a good match today, and a great win for Richard. He must have fought very hard to come back from a break down in the 3rd set.

It won't be as easy on fast courts against Tomic, and with no rest day, but hopefully Richard can win again tomorrow and reach the QF!!
