Marcos Baghdatis, is truly a gifted tennis player. That US open tennis match in Flushing Meadows, New York proved just that. One of the better tennis matches in the year of 2006 I wish him well. Hope for a speedy recovery for him |

I´ve always liked Baghdatis very much, but after that match against Agassi....wow....I started to like him even more.
For me it´s just like cheska said, he always makes me smile when he´s playing, he plays with his heart!
hope he gets ready in time to play Madrid! |

He seems to have a luminescent beam of light that surrounds him. It's a pleasure to watch him perform. Nice spirit. That tennis match at the US Open was an excellent one. Marcos almost pulled a rabbit out of the hat at the end. It was definitely a match for the ages so to speak.
Sincerely, Forever1Gasquet |

That's quite alright, just_ibeth. Everyone here on this forum can have differing ideas/opinions/thoughts on particular likes and dislikes concerning particular tennis players. That's what makes this forum on RG.Net that much more enjoyable/entertaining. If everyone agreed on everything, life would be utterly boring/contemptible. That would indeed, be miserable.

Citation: | Australian Open finalist Marcos Baghdatis raced through the first set of his match with Stefan Koubek but the Austrian rebounded to claim an upset 1-6, 7-6(3), 6-2 win over the fourth seed. Baghdatis began the week just one point behind No. 8 David Nalbandian in the INDESIT ATP Race, but will now lose ground to the Argentine in the battle for the eighth spot in the race to Tennis Masters Cup Shanghai. |
