WHAT A GREAT IDEA! We needed a thread at least for the 2 of us
Sounds to me like Boca got lucky but lmfao at Velez (my least favourite team in Argentina) good to see them through away such a lead
What is going on with Newell's? They don't seem to be playing like i know they can. |

I like Villareal too!!!
Newell's sucks!!! actually if I have to choose between them and Rosario Central I choose Central!!! (don't kill me Paul, it's not like I'm saying I like Rangers). Besides, since Belluschi is now playing in River, Newell's lost a great player. |

WHAAAAATT???? Rosario? and who do you prefer, Newell's or Velez?
As long as you remember to not like Rangers, i guess it's ok
I go to the match against Benfica soon and i was so looking forward to watching Manuel Rui Costa but he has got injured so i will never see him live Good for Celtic though |

Ibeth, I thought you were going to post something about sunday!!!
some things:
From last week:
Calleri, Chela Honored at 'La Bombonera'
http://www.atptennis.com/en/newsandscores/news/2006/arg_soccer.asp
From this week: Boca lost but I realized why it's the best team here, I went to River stadium (believe me you don't wanna find out how) and even if Boca lost, we sang every song and when we went out of the "stadium" we were in the bus jumping and singing, the same mood...
question!!!
Here football songs (not all of them) are really violent, and I wanted to know about it in other countries, how is it in Scotland Paul? (I miss you *hug*) |

Fans in Scotland are crazy. The rivalry between Celtic and Rangers is massive, one of if not the biggest in football.
The Rangers fans (Rangers are a prodestant club and Celtic catholic) have a song about catholics, blood and death if that answers your question. We also have a song about the IRA( you know what that is?) which isn't too nice, but nothing that bad.
It is very violent in songs, and also some awful incidents but i have been at many games between the 2 teams and nothing bad has happened yet |

I just wanted to know. It's good (or not?) to find out the whole world is violent and not only the place I live... (?) it's not good I guess, but football is football
it's mother's day here on sunday, do you think my mom will get mad if I go to the stadium? |

I was on holiday which is why i haven't replied.
I didn't need to see Boca celebrating . Newell's will win next time.
On holiday i stayed in a hotel in Scotland which meant last Tuesday i came back up to Celtic Park to watch the game with Benfica. It was a great game and was the best atmosphere i have experienced that is not in a Celtic v Rangers game. We won 3-0 |

Welcome back *hug* and congratulations for the result.
I'd love to go to any international match but Boca isn't playing Southamerican cup, I have to wait till next year for "Libertadores"
the thing is that the matches are at night during week days, and I'm at work! but for an important match I can swich days with someone.
I hope I can go to the stadium on Sunday |

Benfica 3-0 Celtic We're not going to make it, i have a horrible feeling.
it sucks that you can't go to such matches daniela they are so atmospheric. The one with Benfica was my 3rd in the European Cup. We've won every one i've been at |
