| Horrible draw for Richard. Davydenko round 2 and in Berdych's half. Ouch! |

Yes horrible, but believe Richard should beat both if he really wants to.
I know Richard has H2H 2-1 over davydenko and 3-2 over Berdych so he needs to get out there and start making a statement this year. Just start taking them all down - be more aggressive and most of all confident he can do it.
Richard will win if he wants to.
Good luck and very happy happy to see Richard back in action this week. |

I only saw the last two games, but according to the stats, Davydenko did not get a single breakpoint. 10 aces for Richard! |

| He played well, very dominant on serve and returning he kept plugging away. Good but not great but he got the job done and was fairly efficient and kept his cool. Played a very good point on match oint when davydenk started threaten richard. Well done. Probably Kohli next unless Vasselin can edge it, it will be tough but richard should win. |

Yes 10 aces and no break points - good match against Davydenko. I thought he was too far back at times behind the baseline and wondered why as did not think he needed to do so against Davydenko, but hey, I cannot complain as he did win and in straight sets. I also found that towards the end of the match Richard was becoming very aggressive and it was cool to see. I also hope he will apply it more often from the beginning of the match and begin to terrify his opponents.
I hope Richard goes far in this tournament as it will be good for his confidence.
I watched most of the match online and it was not a bad stream - so I was extremely happy.
Good luck Richard on your next match - attack attack attack |

Could you provide the link, please, as my stream was horrible, so hard to see the ball. I won't be able to watch the QFs, though, but I am ready for Saturday! |

He didn't lost in 3.
Kohli played very well. Richard started out slow but stepped it up in the second set, played more agressive, looked like he really wanted to win and he did win the second. I thought he had turned the momentum around but then opens the third set by loosing his serve and never recovered.
Kohli played well and it is disappointing that Richard had him as his quarterfinal opponent. I'm disappointed because Kohli wasn't THAT good and Richard should have been able to keep the second set momnetum going to at least make the 3rd set a close one. |

Kohli played very well and served great/massive hitting 18 ACES!!!
Richard knows he has to be aggressive from point 1 and not starting from the 2nd set. I'm expect him to take the game to his opponents and not wait for the other guy to make the errors. Sometimes it will work against the lower ranked players but not against the top players. But like I said Richard knows this therefore I'm expecting him to improve this very soon.
Anyway onto Rotterdam which is 1 of the quickest courts in the ATP calender so Richard will need to play well and not stand 10 feet behind the baseline!!
Also some points to be picked up as he didn't play it last year due to injury so it can relax his points from Dubai which he's defending SF place. Marseille can also help for the same reason as he didn't play it last year.
So I'm hopeful he can move up in the rankings by doing well in those 2 tournaments especially. He's currently at No. 16 in the world, with Soderling injured and Lopez not much points in front of him, I'm hopeful he can reach the No. 14 ranking.
Always onwards and upwards, even after a defeat!! |

I have always thought that Kohl was a talented player, but Richard needs to win these matches if he ever wants to crack the top ten again.
Come on Rich, we know you can do it! |

| I could not watch the match, but 18 aces from Kohli says it all. Tough to break when the serve is on. |
