Richard Gasquet will turn to clay this week as he re-tunes his summer of tennis in Switzerland. The Allianz Suisse Open in Gstaad starts on Monday, 10th July, and in the first round, Richard will face Simon Greul of Germany.

Richard is also playing doubles with Paul-Henri Mathieu. In the first round they will face the number four seeds Bracciali/Knowle.

Gasquet and Greul have met once before, at a Challenger in Finland in 2002. Gasquet won that encounter which was also on clay.
After winning Nottingham, Richard is on his way to finding some consistent and decent form after being plagued by injuries.
Also competing in Gstaad are number one seed, Ivan Ljubicic, Gaudio, Verdasco and Mathieu. Gasquet is seeded seventh.
