After Richard returned to the courts at the end of the US hard court season, he will continue with a busy schedule in autumn. His first ATP tournament is Metz, starting on 21 September 2009, where he will meet a qualifier in round 1.

After Metz, Richard is scheduled to play: Kuala Lumpur, Tokio, Shanghai, Orléans (Challenger) and St. Petersburg. The rest remains to be determined.
