After a hesitating start, Richard was a set and a break down. Then, he won nine (!) games in a row to dominate his opponent more and more the longer the match lasted. He hit 10 aces, served at 70 % and won 84 % of th epoints, when the first served went in, to score his first win against the Spaniard. His next oopponent is the winner of Almagro/Sela.
