Richard made short work of Alex Bogdanovic in the 2nd round of the Bordeaux Challenger to set up his fourth meeting with Olivier Rochus this year.

Even if he was broken once in each set, Richard was in command and control in this match. He finished the match in little more than an hour, while O. Rochus was on court more than three hours to set up his quarterfinal against Richard.

Their H/H is 4-2 in in Richard's favour, who won the two last encounters on clay in Casablanca (6-1 6-1) and Belgrade (6-6 6-1) convincingly.
