Richard was in a dominant mood today as he overcame Davide Sanguinetti 6-3, 6-0 to advance to the second round of the PBZ Zagreb Indoors.

Richard broke Sanguinetti in his first service game of the match, and this proved to be the only break of the set. Richard clinched a one set lead, on this third set point at 5-3.

The Frenchman was unrelentless in the second set, as he fought hard on the Italian's service games to take a 4-0 lead. Richard then blitzed to the finish, and handed out a bagel set to tie up the match.

In the second round, he will have a chance to avenge his Doha loss, as he faces Britain's Tim Henman.
