The ATP have recorded an audio interview with Richard Gasquet following his win over Sanguinetti in Zagreb. Richard talks about his win, being injury-free and he looks forward to the match against Tim Henman.
You can listen to the interview here or alternatively, we have transcribed it.
RG: Yeah I’m happy because I won today. It was difficult, because, I mean, he’s a great player and I didn’t win a match since a lot of time because I was injured during four months, so of course I’m really happy to win my first match.
Q: How do you feel physically now?
RG: Physically, I am really good now. I played good tennis today. I am really happy to be on the court with no injuries. So, no, it was a great match for me today.
Q: Next match will be a tough match against Tim Henman. What can you expect from that?
RG: On this court, against Tim Henman, it’s really hard because he won Bercy – Paris Bercy, on the same courts on here. I lost against him in Doha in the first tournament of the year. He’s a great player and I have to do a perfect match to win against him.
