The draw for the Davis Cup tie between Germany and France, this weekend, has been made. In re-matches of the Australian Open Kiefer is first up on Friday against Grosjean, followed by Haas vs. Gasquet.

Saturday sees the doubles between Haas/Waske and Clement/Llodra, followed by reverse singles on the Sunday.

Gasquet and Haas have just had one previous meeting, at the Australian Open this year, which Haas won.

Speaking about this match, Richard said, "It’s different, it’s in Davis Cup. I lost in Australia, but I didn’t play good. But I know to me, he’s a great player so it will be really difficult to win him. But I think I have great chances to win."

Haas has an excellent record in Davis Cup. The German has racked up 18 wins to just 4 losses.
