On Wednesday Richard will face his second round match at the Hypo Group Tennis International in Portschach. The Frenchman will face Jurgen Melzer.
Wednesday rain: Only two matches were completed on Wednesday due to heavy rain. As a result, Richard's second round match will be played on Thursday. Gasquet vs. Melzer is scheduled to be on Centre court not before 1.00pm CET. If Gasquet wins, his third round match will be last on Centre court, with a note of possible court change.

This will be Melzer's and Gasquet's first meeting on the ATP tour.
