In a gripping match tie break, Richard Gasquet and Fabrice Santoro clinched the Metz doubles title. They defeated Knowle/Melzer 3-6, 6-1, 11-9.

The match was a serving spectacle, with both teams having over 70% first serve. Gasquet and Santoro also did well on receiving points, out-matching their Austrian opponents.

This is Richard's first doubles title of the year! He is also playing doubles with Sebastien Grosjean next week in Vienna.
